We have 3 English teachers at Global Wing, and each teacher has their own particular style of teaching.
グローバルウイングには3人の英語の先生がいます。
Today, English time was with Harsha-sensei.
今日の英語の時間はハルシャ先生でした。
They started with the daily greetings about the weather and since it's October they talked about Halloween costumes.
お天気やハロウィンの仮装（10月なので）など、毎日のあいさつから始まりました。
Next, Harsha-sensei talked about animals with the children and showed them the pictures from a book. He usually asks many questions and gives time for everyone to think and answer, encouraging them to speak English.
次に、ハルシャ先生が子どもたちと動物の話をしたり、絵本の絵を見せたりしました。ハルシャ先生は、子どもたちが英語を話すように、普段からたくさんの質問を投げかけ、みんなが考える時間を作るために、辛抱強く答えを待ちます。
Then they spelled out the words on the flashcards to practice the pronunciation. The teacher and the children repeated each words two to three times.
その後、フラッシュカードに単語を書き出し、発音の練習をしました。先生と一緒に、子どもたちはそれぞれの単語を2、3回繰り返しました。
After, they moved on to the games. Today, they played three games.
最後にゲームをし、今日は3つのゲームをしました。
The first game was a Halloween color monster game with an easy song:
最初のゲームは、簡単な歌を使ったハロウィーン・カラー・モンスター・ゲーム：
Hallo-ween, Hallo-ween, Hallo-ween!
Monsters - Monsters, Please don't come!
The second game was using words on flashcards.
2つ目のゲームは、フラッシュカードに書かれた単語を使ったものでした。
The last game was rolling a ball to the "house" (a hula hoop on the floor) to escape the monsters!
3つ目のゲームは、「ハウス」（床に置かれたフーラフープ）までボールを転がしてモンスターから逃げるというものでした！
At the end, Harsha-sensei asked everyone to help clean up together. It's a good practice for everyone to clean up after having fun!
最後に、ハルシャ先生はみんなに片付けを手伝うようお願いしました。
Harsha-sensei naturally combines different kinds of activities and games during his English time. The children listens to Harsha with respect as his voice is calm and gentle.
ハルシャ先生は、英語の時間にさまざまなアクティビティやゲームを自然に組み合わせ、スムーズに進行しています。先生は生徒たちをさりげなく指導し、その声は穏やかでやわらかく、子どもたちは尊敬の念を持って先生の話に耳を傾けています。
Global Wing
This week we are crafting bags for the Trick or Treat for Halloween party!
今週は、ハロウィーン・パーティーのトリック・オア・トリート・ゲームに使うバッグを作っています！
Children were given the materials and the teacher explained how to make a bag in English.
子どもたちは材料を渡され、先生が英語でバッグの作り方を説明しました。
Everyone chose their favorite color for the bag and drew. There were many wonderful Halloween designs such as pumpkins, black cats, and monsters!
ハロウィンということで、カボチャや黒猫、モンスターなどがたくさん描かれていました！
Everyone had fun and now they are ready go trick or treating on Halloween party at Global Wing!
みんな楽しんで、グローバル・ウィングでのハロウィーン・パーティーのトリック・オア・トリートに行く準備ができました！

どんなに暑くても、どんなに寒くても、
子ども達は公園へ行くのが大好きです！！
元気いっぱい走り回って、いつもいっぱい汗をかいて帰ってきます☆
かけっこやリレーをしたり、
鬼ごっこも子ども達に人気な遊びです!(^^)!
現在、GlobalWingにはStani先生というフィンランドから
インターンシップでお手伝いに来てくれている先生がいます☆
Stani先生にはEnglish timeをしてもらうこともあり、
フィンランドについて写真や簡単なゲームを交えて教えてくれたり、
英語での楽しいアクティビティをしてくれたりします。
この日のアクティビティは、先生が ”Touch your ～” と言って
言われた体の部分をタッチするという体の部位ついて学べるゲームをしてくれました(^^♪
初めてStani先生と会った時には緊張していた子もいましたが、
今では自分から ”Hello” と言って挨拶をしたりする子もいます!(^^)!
